Abstract
This chapter examines the genetic, prenatal, perinatal, demographic, and postnatal factors that have been empirically associated with children’s behavior disorders. The review of postnatal factors includes social/ psychological conditions such as family stressors, parent psy?chological characteristics, child psychological characteristics, and parent—child interactions.
