Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of RIPP-7, the 12-session violence prevention curriculum designed for the second year of either middle school (7th grade) or junior high school (8th grade). Once the essence and core components of RIPP-7 are described, a description of the strategies used in the program is presented. A short summary of the goals for each session is provided, as well as a sample workshop. The standardized RIPP-7 instructor manual (approximately 100 pages) is available through the Life Skills Center and is intended to be used in tandem with the guidance in operations and evaluation that is provided in this monograph.
