Abstract
This chapter presents an interview with Arn Chorn-Pond, an internationally recognized peace activist and former child soldier from Cambodia. His work now focuses on the revival of traditional music and art after the Khmer Rouge. His story of his own survival shows how important the arts can be to young people’s ability to cope with extreme adversity and recover later from the trauma of war.
