Abstract
The linear logistic test model (LLTM) described in Chapter 8 is reinterpretable as a model of change and for measuring treatment effects. Chapter 9 deals with this reinterpretation. Moreover, the LLTM for change can be reparameterized in such a way that - quite unlike the RM - change in multidimensional item domains can be analyzed and monitored- This model is called the ‘linear logistic model with relaxed Assumption’ (LLRA) because it dispenses with the unidimensionality requirement of the RM. The present chapter discusses properties of these models of change, gives estimation equations, uniqueness results, and hypothesis tests, and mentions typical applications.
