Samenvatting

Bloed is een vloeistof die in het lichaam circuleert voor het transport van voedingsstoffen naar de organen en de afvoer van afvalstoffen van de stofwisseling. Het bloed zorgt voor transport van onder andere zuurstof en de afvoer van het verbrandingsproduct koolstofdioxide (CO₂) en warmte.
