Samenvatting

Het bijoortje is een vleesachtig papeltje dat in de meeste gevallen een kern van kraakbeen bevat. Het bevindt zich meestal anterior van de tragus of de helix. In zeldzamere gevallen kan het zich op de wang of anterior van de musculus sternocleidomastoideus bevinden.
