Abstract

Trek de antenne uit je televisie en kijk naar het willekeurig patroon van beurtelings oplichtende pixels. Speel ermee, knijp je ogen toe en concentreer je. Vanuit de chaos komt dan een duidelijk bewegend patroon naar voren. Bijvoorbeeld stippen die naar rechts bewegen of roteren. Door je te concentreren kun je zelf bepalen welke beweging je wilt zien. Een beweging zien die er niet is. Hoe kan dat? Wanneer word je je bewust van een beweging?
