Samenvatting

Balanitis is een ontsteking van de glans penis. Bij gelijktijdige ontsteking van het preputium spreekt men van een balanopostitis (van balanos, ‘eikel’, en posthe, ‘voorhuid’). Deze termen worden vaak door elkaar gebruikt.
