Samenvatting

Een avulsiefractuur van de tuberositas is een weinig voorkomend letsel van de proximale tibia, dat vaak wordt gezien bij sportende adolescenten. In dit artikel bespreken wij twee casus. Tevens behandelen wij de pathofysiologie, classificatie, behandeling, geassocieerde letsels en complicaties uit de bijbehorende literatuur.
