The original version of this article unfortunately contained several errors. These errors are corrected with this erratum.
In the original publication, dates for the beginning of “The Cluster Study” in Los Angeles were incorrectly listed as “March 1981” (p. 375, p. 376). The author flew to Los Angeles to assist the County Health Department and EIS Officer Dr. David Auerbach with EPI AID 81 − 64 in March 1982.
