Samenvatting

Plastische en reconstructieve chirurgische ingrepen kunnen vanwege een scala aan indicaties verricht worden. Zo verricht de plastisch chirurg reconstructies na mutilerende oncologische ingrepen of na traumatische beschadiging. Maar ook cosmetische plastisch-chirurgische ingrepen worden gedaan op verzoek van de patiënt. Beide categorieën worden in dit hoofdstuk behandeld en de anesthesiologische implicaties worden aangegeven.
