Samenvatting

  • In de zwangerschap is er sprake van een fysiologische hemoglobine-daling door relatieve verdunning; hiervoor zijn grenswaarden per termijn vastgesteld.
  • Een fysiologische anemie in de zwangerschap heeft geen negatieve gevolgen en behoeft geen behandeling.
  • IJzergebreksanemie is de meest voorkomende anemie tijdens de zwangerschap.
  • Denk aan (dragerschap) van hemoglobinopathie bij vrouwen van niet-Noord-Europese afkomst.
