Samenvatting

In dit vierde hoofdstuk gaan we dieper in op de uitvoering of praktische looptraining. De specifieke doelstellingen, zoals te bereiken loopafstand, loopsnelheid, K-level, keuze loophulpmiddel of orthese, haalbare activiteiten en dubbeltaken worden geformuleerd. Naargelang de looptraining vordert zal men samen met de cliënt de doelstellingen bijstellen. Achtereenvolgens komen in dit hoofdstuk aan bod: facetten van motorische controle en motorisch leren binnen de looptraining; voorbereidende vaardigheden zoals opstaan en stabalans; opbouw van de looptraining per probleemfase en veelvoorkomende afwijking; belang van manuele facilitaties in het aanleerproces; automatiseren van het looppatroon en opbouw functionele vaardigheden zoals traplopen en opstaan van de vloer.
