Samenvatting

Aften zijn pijnlijke, solitaire of multipele ulceraties van het mondslijmvlies. Stomatitis aphthosa is een recidiverende ontsteking van het niet-gekeratiniseerde mondslijmvlies waarbij enkele tot vele afteuze laesies aanwezig zijn.
