Samenvatting

Lucht die trilt met een frequentie tussen ca. 20 Hz en 18 kHz nemen we waar als geluid. Lucht ademen we ook in voor de nodige zuurstof. Maar trillende lucht (geluid) gedraagt zich totaal anders dan de stromende ademlucht. Dat die lucht twee doelen dient, is de bron voor veel misvattingen en verwarring. Over de samenhang tussen adem en stem is nogal wat geschreven in de loop van jaren, zelfs in de loop van de eeuwen.
