Samenvatting

Dit hoofdstuk geeft een overzicht van verschillende typen knieprothesen die kunnen worden geïmplanteerd. De totale knieprothese, de hemiprothese en de patellaprothese komen aan bod. Verder wordt uitgelegd wat er zoal komt kijken bij een standaard totale knieprotheseoperatie en wat de voor- en nadelen zijn van minimaal invasieve chirurgie.
