74. Acromial dimple

Samenvatting

Een acromial dimple is een deuk(je) in de huid rond het schoudergewricht, dat vanaf de geboorte aanwezig is. De dimples komen meestal aan twee kanten (bi-acromial dimple) voor en aan de posterieure zijde van de schouder. De afmetingen bedragen tussen de 3 en 10 mm in diameter en 5 tot 10 mm in diepte. De symmetrische variant wordt ook wel ‘supraspinous fossa’ genoemd.
