Adam Feinstein is the father of a 17-year-old son with ASD. He has been a hard-working and enthusiastic advocate of improving understanding of autism and has been involved in a number of awareness raising ventures. He has, for example, been a key figure in establishing two important ASD web resources—autismconnect http://www.autismconnect.org.uk/, and AWARES (http://www.awares.org/) the All Wales Autism Resource. He also coordinates the successful virtual conferences that have been hosted through the latter and edits a regular autism newsletter ‘Looking Up’ (http://www.lookingupautism.org/). …
