Samenvatting

Cognitieve gedragstherapie is een gesprekstherapeutische behandeling gericht op het veranderen van disfunctionele gedachten. Dit zijn gedachten en opvattingen over de werkelijkheid die leiden tot sterk negatieve emoties, zoals angst, woede en verdriet, die aanzetten tot bepaald gedrag zoals vermijden, vechten of terugtrekken en huilen.
