Samenvatting

Seborroïsch eczeem, ook wel seborroïsche dermatitis genoemd, is een chronische recidiverende huidaandoening, gekenmerkt door erytheem met vettige, gelige korsten of droge witte schilfering op plaatsen waar zich actieve talgklieren bevinden. Naast de hoofdhuid (‘roos’) zijn de voorkeursplaatsen de nasolabiale plooien, andere lichaamsplooien, de baardstreek, wenkbrauwen, wimpers, gehoorschelpen en gehoorgangen, retroauriculair, presternaal en interscapulair.
