8 Mannelijke genitaliën

Samenvatting

Bij klachten van de mannelijke in- en uitwendige genitaliën is het in de meeste gevallen mogelijk om met behulp van fysisch-diagnostisch onderzoek tot een diagnose te komen. Aanvullende diagnostiek is lang niet altijd nodig. De penis en het scrotum zijn immers eenvoudig te onderzoeken omdat zij uitwendig gelegen zijn. Behalve klachten van de genitaliën zelf (zoals uitslag of pijn) kunnen ook plasklachten en seksuele klachten reden zijn om de genitaliën te onderzoeken.
