Samenvatting

Tijdens of ten gevolge van de chirurgische of prothetische behandeling kan een implantaat verloren gaan of kunnen complicaties ontstaan. De complicaties kunnen van lokale en algemene aard zijn. Bij een nauwkeurige voorbereiding en uitvoering van de chirurgische behandeling leiden chirurgische complicaties echter zelden tot blijvend letsel.
