Samenvatting

Er kan onderscheid gemaakt worden tussen het spontaan kraken van gewrichten en het kraken na manipulatie. Bij spontaan kraken van gewrichten speelt de conditie van het gewricht waarschijnlijk een belangrijke rol. Maar ook in geheel gezonde gewrichten kunnen bij bewegen spontane knak- of kraakgeluiden ontstaan.
