Samenvatting

Een slachtoffer met ernstige brandwonden vertoont een complex ziektebeeld, waarbij verscheidene orgaansystemen betrokken kunnen raken. Hoewel het verlies aan huid een sleutelrol vervult en het zaak is dit verlies zo snel mogelijk op te heffen, is het van belang alle facetten die bij de behandeling een rol spelen, daar steeds bij te betrekken.
