4 Psychotherapie: effectiviteit en indicatiestelling

Samenvatting

Veel van de met psychotherapie bereikte resultaten kunnen worden toegeschreven aan de zogenaamde algemene therapiefactoren, ook wel placebofactoren of non-specifieke factoren genoemd. Daarom begint dit hoofdstuk met een bespreking van deze factoren, die mede aan de basis liggen van tendensen tot eclecticisme en integratie. Vervolgens worden recente ontwikkelingen met betrekking tot evidence-based psychotherapie en stepped care besproken. Tot slot worden gegevens over de indicatiestelling voor psychotherapie gepresenteerd.
