Samenvatting

Al meer dan veertig jaar worden in de kindertandheelkunde stalen kronen gebruikt. In de jaren zeventig en begin jaren tachtig werden ze algemeen gebruikt.

De Cochrane Collaboration is een onafhankelijke internationale non-profitorganisatie. Zij streeft naar het produceren en verspreiden van actuele informatie inzake effecten van gezondheidszorg. Dit doet zij door het initiëren en verspreiden van systematische samenvattingen van al het beschikbare wetenschappelijke kwaliteitsonderzoek betreffende het effect (of het ontbreken daarvan) van gezondheidszorginterventies. Deze rapporten worden samengebracht in de Cochrane Library.
