Samenvatting

De pectus excavatum is de meest voorkomende congenitale deformiteit van de thoraxwand die wordt gekenmerkt door een deuk in het sternum. Een asymmetrische groei van de ribkraakbeenderen is de oorzaak van de deformiteit.
