28 Paro-endoproblemen

Samenvatting

Paro-endopathologie vormt in de eerste plaats een differentiaaldiagnostisch probleem. Stel, het endodontium en het parodontium zijn volledig gescheiden structuren. In dat geval vormen symptomen ter hoogte van het endodontium of het parodontium de indicatoren voor respectievelijk endo- en paropathologie. Wederzijdse beïnvloeding is onder deze omstandigheden niet mogelijk en de diagnosestelling blijft ook relatief eenvoudig. Anatomische en microscopische observaties tonen echter aan dat deze veronderstelling foutief is.
