Samenvatting

Acute medische situaties zijn in de tandheelkundige praktijk (gelukkig) ongewoon. Indien acute situaties toch ontstaan, kunnen zij samenhangen met een ziekte waaraan de patiënt lijdt of met de behandeling van die ziekte. In enkele gevallen vormt de tandheelkundige behandeling zélf een uitlokkende factor.
