203 Mortonneuralgie

Samenvatting

Mortonneuralgie wordt omschreven als aanvalsgewijze pijn in de voorvoet, brandend of stekend van karakter, gelokaliseerd in de interdigitale ruimte. De pijn zou worden veroorzaakt door een beschadiging van een zenuw in de interdigitale ruimte. Meestal is de zenuw in de ruimte tussen digiti III en IV aangedaan, maar mortonneuralgie is ook in de aangrenzende interdigitale ruimten beschreven. De pijn neemt toe bij het belasten van de voet.
