20 Motorische schrijfproblemen

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt achtereenvolgens beschreven hoe vaak schrijfproblemen voorkomen bij kinderen, wat er bekend is over de etiologie, op welke wijze de kinderfysiotherapeut de diagnostiek moet uitvoeren en hoe vervolgens de behandeling van kinderen met motorische schrijfproblemen kan worden uitgevoerd. Uitgangspunt bij de in dit hoofdstuk beschreven diagnostiek en behandeling is dat er bij het kind geen sprake is van een onderliggende diagnose die met zodanige motorische stoornissen gepaard gaat dat het bewegen van de hand dermate gebrekkig verloopt dat aanpassingen voor het vastleggen van schrift noodzakelijk zijn (spraakherkenning of aangepaste tekstverwerking).
