2 Fysiotherapie voor patiënten met hoofdpijnklachten

Samenvatting

» Hoofdpijn is in de fysiotherapiepraktijk een veelvuldig voorkomende klacht. Ze gaat vaak gepaard met symptomen in de nekregio. Bovendien is er in toenemende mate evidentie voor fysiotherapeutische zorg. Dit maakt dat hoofdpijn de nodige aandacht van fysiotherapeuten verdient. Bovendien bevelen recente richtlijnen aan om hoofdpijnpatiënten vooral in de eerste lijn op te vangen, wat de kans op aanmelding bij de fysiotherapeut vergroot. In deze bijdrage willen we een praktische leidraad bieden. De aandacht gaat naar indicaties en contra-indicaties en naar aangrijpingspunten voor (effectiviteit van) therapie en naar relevante uitkomstmaten.
