2 Een beknopte geschiedenis van schematherapie

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt beknopt de geschiedenis geschetst van schematherapie (ST). Een geschiedenis kan niet geconstrueerd worden zonder te definiëren wat het object ervan is. Er wordt betoogd dat er grofweg twee definities van ST zijn: een brede definitie en een engere, waarbij de laatste samenvalt met de ST die door Jeffrey Young is ontwikkeld.
