14 Gingivale recessies

Samenvatting

Tijdens het eruptieproces wordt (na doorbraak door de mondmucosa) de tandkroon steeds meer zichtbaar. De rand van de gingiva verschuift gaandeweg van incisaal/occlusaal in de richting van de glazuur-cementgrens. Op het moment van het bereiken van occlusie met de antagonisten is nog ongeveer 50% van de kroon met gingiva bedekt. Echter ook na het bereiken van occlusie neemt de hoogte van de klinische kroon toe.
