Samenvatting

De fissuurtong wordt gekenmerkt door groeven in de tong die variëren in diepte.¹ De groeven komen met name voor op de tongrug en kunnen zich naar lateraal uitstrekken. De fissuurtong wordt in de literatuur ook wel lingua fissurata, lingua plicata, scrotal tongue en grooved tongue genoemd.
