Samenvatting

Evenals de skeletspier moet ook het hart elektrisch worden geprikkeld voordat de spiercellen tot contractie komen. De skeletspier ontvangt hiertoe prikkels (impulsen) uit het centrale zenuwstelsel, terwijl de hartspier de impulsen die het contractieproces inleiden zelf genereert.
