40 Tricuspidalis- en pulmonaliskleplijden

Samenvatting

Een klinisch belangrijke, geïsoleerde aantasting van de tricuspidalis- of pulmonalisklep komt weinig voor bij patiënten die geen aangeboren hartaandoening hebben. Meestal wordt men hiermee geconfronteerd in het kader van complexer cardiaal of pulmonaal lijden, waarbij het klinische beeld vaak meer door de andere afwijkingen wordt bepaald. Het gevaar bestaat dan ook dat tricuspidalis- of pulmonaliskleplijden niet de nodige aandacht krijgt en leidt tot restmorbiditeit na adequate behandeling van de vaak meer in het oog springende pathologie.
