Samenvatting

De klinische ontwikkelingspsychologie bestudeert kinderen bij wie er psychische problemen zijn vastgesteld. Men stelt zich daarbij de vraag hoe deze problemen zich manifesteren en welke factoren de problemen veroorzaken en in stand houden. Het doel hierbij is tweeledig: een model ontwerpen dat ontwikkeling van afwijkend gedrag kan verklaren en aanknopingspunten aanreiken voor preventie of gepaste interventie.
