Samenvatting

Gebitsreiniging dateert al van duizenden jaren terug, getuige oude geschriften en vondsten in graftomben. In het oude China en Egypte, onder Mesopotamiërs en Azteken, waren reeds vormen van mondhygiëne bekend.
