Psychopathologie en sociaal functioneren van jonge vrouwen die geplaatst zijn geweest in een gesloten jeugdinstelling

Samenvatting

In dit artikel beschrijven wij vervolgonderzoek onder 184 meisjes die ooit geplaatst waren in gesloten jeugdinstellingen. Zij werden 4,5 jaar na plaatsing opnieuw onderzocht. Resultaten laten complexe problematiek zien op jongvolwassen leeftijd. Gezien de ernst hiervan en het risico op overdracht van gedragsproblemen op de volgende generatie, bevelen wij intensieve en langdurige ondersteuning na opname aan.
