Betrouwbaarheid en validiteit

Samenvatting

Lichamelijke klachten komen veelvuldig voor bij kinderen op de basisschool. Het onderzoek naar lichamelijke klachten wordt in Nederlandstalige landen sterk gehinderd door gebrek aan een instrumentarium. Met de in dit artikel voorgestelde Vragenlijst Lichamelijke Klachten-Kinderen (vlk-k) trachten we hierin verandering te brengen. Kinderen van acht tot dertien jaar en hun ouders werden met de vlk-k bevraagd. Voor analyse zijn 167 vragenlijsten bruikbaar. De betrouwbaarheid en de validiteit van de vlk-k werd onderzocht. De eerste gegevens wijzen op een voldoende interne consistentie en convergente validiteit. Van de kinderen had 16% hoofdpijn, 15% buikpijn en 11% rugpijn.
