De nood aan geïnformeerde palliatieve zorgverlening in woonzorgcentra

Samenvatting

Woonzorgcentra zijn belangrijke locaties voor het verlenen van palliatieve zorg. Kwaliteitsvolle palliatieve zorgverlening in woonzorgcentra vereist een evaluatie van de uiteenlopende fysieke, psychische, sociale en spirituele zorgnoden van de bewoners. Het gebruik van een ‘comprehensive assessment’ kan helpen om deze palliatieve zorgnoden in kaart te brengen.
