Dafna Lemish compiles, analyzes, and draws conclusions on a global array of studies within her book Children and Media—A Global Perspective. Throughout her work, Dafna highlights themes, debates, and uncertainties that centralize around children and contemporary media. Her perspective offers a rich representation of technology as a global phenomenon diffusing rapidly around the world. Dafna discusses how debates over media’s role in the lives of children emerge worldwide, as does the daily use of various technological devices by children. The positive and negative concerns of media exist around the globe. Therefore, the global community hopes to foster a healthy relationship between children and media. Dafna concludes that this issue requires cooperative efforts from all over the world to spark positive and lasting change. …
