Samenvatting

De herziene NHG-Standaard Aspecifieke lagerugpijn besteedt meer aandacht dan voorheen aan de specifieke oorzaken van lagerugpijn, waaronder axiale spondyloartritis (axSpA). Het afgelopen decennium is er veel veranderd voor patiënten met axSpA. Het starten van de behandeling in een vroeg stadium vraagt om een tijdige herkenning van de axSpApatiënt in de eerste lijn.
