Samenvatting

Wanneer een wortelkanaalbehandeling voor een tand noodzakelijk is, wordt getracht het wortelkanaalstelsel chemo-mechanische te reinigen. Zo worden de infectieuze agentia, het geïnfecteerde pulpaweefsel en de smeerlaag samen met het dentinedebris dat ontstaat tijdens de kanaalpreparatie, verwijderd.
